IT Software Developer III (.NET Support)

Are you a skilled .NET developer ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a driven IT Software Developer III to help design, build, and support enterprise-level applications that make a real impact.

 

In this role, you’ll work with modern technologies—including cloud-based tools, data platforms, and emerging AI integrations—to develop scalable, high-performing solutions. What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise business applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and C#
  • Provide ongoing production support and enhancements for critical systems
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Develop and manage SQL-based database components (views, stored procedures, functions, complex queries)
  • Create and publish data visualizations and reports using Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable technology solutions

Schedule: 44/36, Monday through Friday/Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Initial hours are 8:00 am to 5:45 pm with flexibility in start times no earlier than 6 am and end times no later than 6 pm.


Hybrid: Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.

 

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience. 

 

Relevant Experience is defined as:  experience in/with Software Development using Microsoft .NET framework, C#, Power BI, and SQL Programming.
