The Human Resources Assistant II (Recruitment) District Temp is a temporary position with an estimated end date of 18 months from the start date.
In this position you will assist with responding, preparing, proofreading, and reviewing a variety of documents, files, reports, and records; assist with maintaining and updating databases; you will also assist recruiters with preparing necessary recruitment documents and reviewing final recruitment folders to ensure all required documents are included.
This position will provide administrative support to the Recruitment Unit. The primary responsibility will be supporting recruitment and focusing on the day-to-day administration tasks. You will support Recruiters by assisting with scheduling interviews and testing, completing required training forms for new hires, assist the recruiters with follow up with candidates and hiring managers, and assist with auditing recruitment files for accuracy. In this position you will also assist with maintaining databases, transfer list, iCIMS recruiting system information, and other recruitment initiatives as needed. You will also assist with preparing reports and compiling data and preparing documents for recruitment folders and files to ensure all documents are included.
You will have the opportunity demonstrate your excellent skills in communication, customer service, organization, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a record of demonstrating the highest level of ethics and integrity. This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.
Schedule: 44/36, Monday through Friday/Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday.
Hybrid: Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Human Resources Assistant I classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: administrative work experience supporting recruitment.
