We are looking to hire a Limited Term Employee. The estimated end date for this position is 3 years from the start date.
The Human Resources Assistant III (Recruitment) will provide administrative support to the Class/Comp and Recruitment Unit. The primary responsibility will be supporting recruitment and focusing on the day to day administration tasks and implimenting procedure and process improvements. In this role you will demonstrate your excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be maintaining databases such as the Transfer List and iCIMS recruiting system information. You will assist recruiters with preparing necessary recruitment documents and reviewing final recruitment folders to ensure all required documents are included. You will gather data and prepare reports including recruitment activity report and response to request for information, as well as helping with projects.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or two years in an MWD Human Resources Assistant II classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: work either supporting or performing a recruitment function.
Desirable Experience: working in a Public sector and / or Union Envirnoment
This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Employees in this position may be required to obtain and maintain the following certifications, licensing, and registrations:
Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
