Debt Management. Capital Markets. Investment Banking. As the Manager of Treasury and Debt Management you will be primarily responsible for managing and supervising these activities for Metropolitan. Your expertise and management ability will be heavily relied upon within this exciting role that comes with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a great work-life balance.

Your areas of responsibility will include: developing and implementing asset liability management strategies and techniques; analyzing of financial products and instruments; managing the District’s investment banking team and financial advisors; managing the District’s debt and interest rate swap program; managing the investment portfolio in accordance with Metropolitan's Board adopted investment policy; managing the debt portfolio in accordance with financial policies; and managing the treasury functions.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university and fourteen years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, of which five years must have been in a management or supervisory position; or an advanced degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university and twelve years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, of which five years must have been in a management or supervisory position.


Relevant Experience is defined as: working experience with finance (management of assets and liabilities; debt management); capital markets; investment banking; or treasury operations.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
