  • As an Administrative Assistant I you will perform a variety of administrative duties in support to the Facility Services Team at the Gene Facility. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: compiling reports regarding meals and lodging, responding to customer inquiries and requests, assisting with scheduling, maintaining and organizing data; and procuring goods and materials.

    You must be able to organize and complete your assigned work according to deadlines while providing a high level of customer service to those you support. The ability to build strong working relationships; collaborate and communicate effectively; and be attentive to detail is extremely important.

    Education and Experience: A high school diploma or Certificate of High School equivalency and four years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.


    Relevant Experience is defined as: work experience performing administrative functions

    License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
