As a Principal Information Technology Analyst in the GIS & CAD Services Team, you will be the resident expert of the specialized and complex Enterprise GIS (EGIS) infrastructure responsible for the planning, development, implementation, support and administration of this environment and GIS application development.
The EGIS infrastructure consists of Esri’s ArcGlS Enterprise suite of applications. This includes ArcGlS Portal, Geodatabases built on Oracle and PostgreSQL, ArcGIS Servers, Image Server, GeoEvent Server, GeoAnalytics Server, Spatiotemporal Big Data Store, Insights and ArcGIS Monitor. The hardware infrastructure includes various servers, both physical and virtual, large network storage devices, high-end GIS workstations, printers, plotters and various mobile devices.
As the administrator of the Enterprise GIS, you will be responsible for monitoring the system, responding to and fixing technical issues, testing and applying patches and upgrades, designing and implementing integrations with other enterprise systems, administering user accounts and roles, developing and configuring GIS applications and other related activities.
You will also function in a quality assurance role reviewing and recommending approval of proposed technology solutions and designs from other staff and consultants. You may also function as a senior project manager on complex information technology initiatives. In the role of senior project manager, areas of responsibility include directing project teams, developing schedules, project plans, proposals, budgets, and status reports applying cost benefit methodologies to monitor progress and success, and managing projects to completion.
Schedule: 9/80, Monday through Fridays with alternating Fridays off

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of increasingly responsible experience, of which two years must have been at the Senior Programmer Analyst or Senior Systems Analyst level.
Relevant Experience is defined as: Experience working with Esri based Geographic Information (GIS) Systems. This includes GIS analysis, GIS application development, GIS data processing and management, GIS system integration, or GIS system administration.
